Ground Breaking Impact Technology:  The patent pending impact technology addresses one of the main issues that causes channeling in your extraction. Now ensuring a consistently uniform distribution of coffee grounds within the puck, by utilizing precise, controlled vibrations, this feature helps to fill all the voids and eliminate any air pockets in the coffee grounds. 

6 blades technology: Built with 6 blades the gravity distributor evens out the puck bed from the centre outwards with a consistent rate. With pointed plades the puck will be sqaured perfectly at the basket edge.

Adjustable speed: Built with an adjustable screw to speed up or slow down the gravity distribution blade, or lock off completely when you find perfect depth; giving you complete control over your distribution.

The Distributor That Goes Beyond Levelling Most espresso distributors do one thing: they level the coffee bed by rotating a set of blades across the top of the puck. That's useful — but it doesn't address what's happening beneath the surface. Micro-voids and air pockets deep within the ground coffee bed create paths of least resistance during extraction, allowing water to channel through unevenly regardless of how flat the surface looks. The Pesado Impact Gravity Distributor was built to solve this — not just at the surface, but through the full depth of the puck, using two complementary technologies working simultaneously.

Impact Technology: Vibration That Fills the Voids When you spin the Impact Gravity Distributor clockwise, its patent-pending impact mechanism automatically engages. As it rotates, precisely controlled axial vibrations propagate through the puck bed, dislodging and collapsing micro-voids and air pockets that blade distribution alone can't reach. The particles interlock more tightly, reducing the gaps that cause channelling during extraction. The result is a denser, more uniform puck structure from the basket base to the surface — giving water nowhere to channel and producing a more balanced, consistent extraction. The impact mechanism engages automatically with clockwise rotation and requires no additional steps.

Gravity Technology: Self-Adjusting, Depth-Perfect Distribution The second innovation is the gravity blade system — a 6-blade design that solves the fundamental limitation of fixed-depth distributors. Fixed distributors are calibrated to a specific depth, which means any change in dose or basket size introduces room for error. The Pesado gravity system uses the distributor's own weight to let the blades find the natural resistance point of the puck bed, automatically adapting to different basket sizes and dose weights without any manual recalibration. An adjustable screw lets you speed up or slow down the blade, or lock it off completely once you've found your preferred depth for a given setup. Available in matte black and white gloss finishes, weighing in at a substantial 592g — the weight itself is part of how the gravity system works.
