Got the full live page. The current meta description cuts off mid-sentence at "BFA registered as comp" — same truncation issue as many other pages in this project. The on-page copy is also very thin: three short paragraphs with no backflush instructions, no application context, and no format guidance. Two sizes: 500g and 1kg (both currently sold out but variants remain listed). Key credentials: first espresso cleaner certified by an organic certification body, OMRI listed (USDA National Organic Program), BFA registered (Australian Organic Standard). The Original Organic Espresso Cleaner
Cafetto EVO® holds a distinction no other espresso machine cleaner can claim: it was the first cleaner in the category to receive certification from an organic certification body. That milestone reflects a formulation built without synthetic chemicals, phosphates, or chlorine — and the certifications that followed have kept pace with it. EVO® is OMRI listed as complying with the USDA National Organic Program requirements and BFA registered as complying with the Australian Organic Standard, making it the appropriate backflush cleaner for cafés and home baristas using certified organic coffee who don't want synthetic cleaning residues in the same group head their coffee passes through.
What EVO® Does and How to Use It
EVO® is a powder backflush cleaner designed for traditional espresso machines with a 3-way solenoid valve — the same category of machine as most E61, La Marzocco, ECM, Rocket, Profitec, Lelit, Rancilio, and Breville machines. It removes coffee oils, grounds, and stains from the group head, shower screen, portafilter, and basket with a rapidly soluble, free-rinsing formula that leaves no residue and no odour. For daily cleaning, use 1 dose in the group handle with blind filter, run the backflush cycle as specified by your machine manufacturer (typically 10 seconds on, 10 seconds off, repeated 5–6 times), then rinse thoroughly by running the same cycle with water only. Soak portafilter and basket in hot water with EVO® for 10 minutes to remove stubborn oil buildup, then rinse under running water. Brew and discard one espresso to re-season the group head before returning to service.
500g and 1kg — Choosing the Right Size
EVO® is available in 500g and 1kg jars. The 500g jar is the natural starting point for home baristas backflushing weekly — at a standard dose per clean, 500g delivers well over 50 cleaning cycles. The 1kg jar suits higher-frequency cleaning schedules, shared machines, or those who simply prefer to buy in bulk. EVO® is the organic alternative to Cafetto Espresso Clean® in the Coffee Addicts range — both are effective backflush cleaners for traditional espresso machines, with EVO® specifically suited to those prioritising organic certification. For descaling rather than backflushing, see the Cafetto Liquid Organic Descaler or Cafetto Renew.
