The BWT Flowmeter was developed to measure and monitor the residual capacity of BWT water filters. After entry of the filter capacity the BWT Flowmeter calculates the relative residual capacity. This ensures timely replacement of the BWT water filter in order to ensure your equipment stays protected.

BWT filter cartridges have a rated capacity — a volume of water they can effectively filter before the media is exhausted. Without a flowmeter, the replacement schedule is either calendar-based (replace every X months) or reactive (replace when water quality visibly degrades). Calendar-based replacement wastes cartridge capacity in low-use setups and risks under-filtering in high-use ones. The BWT Flowmeter solves this cleanly: you enter the rated capacity of your specific cartridge into the flowmeter, it tracks the volume of water passing through the filter in real time, and the LCD display shows you the remaining capacity as a percentage. When the capacity approaches zero, you know it's time to replace — not before, not after. Add-On for the BWT Besthead — Simple Installation
The BWT Flowmeter is an add-on accessory for the BWT Besthead Quick-Change Filter Head and is purchased separately. It fits into the Besthead installation and monitors flow on the filtered water line.
