Common portafilter repairs
Keeping the portafilter in good shape matters because the portafilter is the part you handle every shot, and its baskets, spouts and handles wear out with daily use. This page covers filter baskets, spouts, handles, springs and portafilter gaskets. Watch for a cracked handle, a worn or dented basket, dripping spouts, or a portafilter that no longer locks in tight; when you spot them, swapping the part is often all it takes to get back to great espresso.

Not every part fits every version of this machine. When in doubt, send us your model and serial details and our team will make sure you get a part that fits.
